Association Leader: Cal Dooley, Moving from Grocery Manufacturers Association to American Chemistry Council

In just four years, Cal Dooley has transitioned his career from Congress to the leadership of Washingtons top-tier trade associations. On July 9, he was named the CEO of the American Chemistry Council, a $120 million trade group representing chemical and energy companies. Hell start the job Sept. 8, succeeding Jack Gerard who has served as CEO since 2005 and who became known for reorganizing ACC and boosting its lobbying efforts.
